Job description
Working hand in hand with the other members of the Kitchen team at our Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, Clos du Cèdre, your main objective is to assist the Demi-Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie while following the instructions and recommendations of our Chef de Cuisine, Mr Jordan Billan. You'll be expected to follow the Chef de Partie's instructions, and comply with the establishment's procedures, legal norms and standards (particularly in terms of hygiene and food safety).
You'll be expected to monitor the stocks in his or her section, and report any special needs. Helping, informing, supervising and training trainees, as well as guaranteeing the quality of services, will be your priorities.
Profile wanted
More than training or years of experience, we are above all looking for someone who is passionate about their job, for whom pleasing their customers is the primary motivation. Your successful experience in a similar position has enabled you to develop a keen sense of service, excellent interpersonal skills and good stress management. Working hand in hand with the Maître d'Hôtel and our Head Sommelier, your main objective is to ensure complete customer satisfaction with wine and beverage service right up to the point of departure. To do this, you'll take orders, advise customers and ensure impeccable service. You will be responsible for cellar management and monthly inventories.
