The 24 Hours of Beaune
Atypical team bike race in the heart of Beaune. The concept is simple: each team of 8 riders must design and build a non-motorized machine capable of running with at least two team members on board. Foulée des Vendanges
Hundreds of runners compete in a choice of 3 races, a 20-kilometer half-marathon, a 10-kilometer or a 5-kilometer race, through the village streets, the Château park and the vineyards of Savigny-lès-Beaune, near Beaune. Each year, the day is sponsored by some of the biggest names in sport, who come to cheer on the day's athletes and meet the public.

International Baroque & Romantic Opera Festival
Every summer, lovers of baroque opera make Beaune a musical capital and its Hospices a concert hall. A pioneer festival in the 1980s, it is now considered the European reference lyric festival. Between the Hospices and their Salle des Pôvre, the Notre Dame Basilica and other prestigious halls in the city, the setting is perfectly suited to this Festival. It is perfectly suited to this International Baroque Opera Festival where the most beautiful compositions, conductors and the best musicians of Europe meet. During all the weekends of July, this great music resounds in the beautiful places of the Burgundian city.
